My Pathway to Bliss

Reflection on Myth and Interpretation

The reader’s interpretation of a myth as a model for life is incredibly important. An individual’s interpretation of any story, song, or symbol is one of potentially many perspectives.

You could read a story and have it be life-changing. Or you could read it and let it slip through the cracks of your mind. Here, I am not sure if I am providing any amount of wisdom, knowledge, or belief to the reader. That is up to you.

“Myth is not the same as history; myths are not inspiring stories of people who lived notable lives.”

Myths, from my perspective, are made for your personal interpretation for the benefit of your search for virtue and bliss.

Personal Vision of Travel and Meaning

My search for virtue and bliss, in my ideal conditions, is similar to those of 1950s and 1970s hippies: travel without boundaries or a schedule, on the search for deeper spiritual understanding and enlightenment.

What this entails for me is gearing up my 1988 Isuzu Trooper, with some gas money, and driving around New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Texas-documenting my travel and focusing on my mental health.

I truly believe that this is something I would like to do, as it has quietly been on my mind since 2024.

Question: How do I make this dream come true?

As impatient as I am, I believe the best course of action is to achieve a driver’s license, and then be on my way-with strict safety factors set in place (for example: not driving while baked).
